What's Happening at the Crazy Horse Memorial?

Admission to the Memorial on weekends and holidays from October 12th thru June 20th is 3 cans of food per person for the KOTA Care and Share Food Drive.

• May 3rd - Korczak Day: 63rd anniversary of sculptor Korczak Ziolkowski moving to the Black Hills in 1947 to accept the invitation from Lakota leaders to carve Crazy Horse Memorial. Free Admission*

• May 29th-31st - Memorial Day Weekend Open House: Free Admission* to residents of SD, MT, ND, NE, and WY. Booths featuring guest artists in Indian Museum of North America and Cultural Center.

OF NOTE:
Admission is always free for Native Americans, military personnel with active-duty ID, Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops in uniform, and Custer County, SD residents.

*Free Admission with requested donation of cash or 3 cans of food per person for the KOTA Care and Share Food Drive.
